Welcome to Melody Note

Named after the record tune totes I have collected for the last 25 years and a nod to my roots running indie punk rock record labels in my youth. I’m basically a music nerd that loves vintage clothing. I firmly believe that preserving and wearing vintage clothing is a great way to show your individual spirit, while being important to preserving the planet. I pride myself on giving great customer service and taking the time, so that you leave with something you really love. I bring 35 years of experience in vintage and a passion for fit and garment construction.

Growing up going to thrift stores in Omaha, Nebraska and later moving to Seattle, Washington where I worked in records stores, while selling to select vintage stores for the last 20+ years. In 2019 I began looking for a store front in the Palm Springs area. A few false starts and a random drive around town left me pulling over to the side of the road to peak into an empty store front.

I specialize in 1920s flapper to early 1990s skate punk and everything in between. I am happy to work with stylists to supply the film / theatre, select magazines and photographers on editorial projects. Please contact me for collaboration or rental.
